The RISE-SHG26 (Resilience, Income, Skills, and Empowerment of Women Self-Help Groups) project is implemented in Shivapuri Ward No. 7 and 8 in Nuwakot district. It aims to promote economic independence and social empowerment for women and girls.
The project strengthens 199 women members across eight local Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs). In addition, it builds on the earlier SHG-25 phase.
The project runs for one year. It focuses on sustainable income generation, financial literacy, and community mobilization. As a result, women can improve their income and decision-making power.
The project also combines traditional practices with modern financial management. Through this approach, women can manage resources more effectively. They can also build stronger and more resilient communities.
Overall, the project supports a women-led and self-reliant community in Nuwakot.
