Women for Peace and Democracy Nepal (WPD-Nepal) is proud to be recognized as a finalist for the UN SDG Action Campaign 2025. The prestigious UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony was held on 29th October 2025 in Rome, Italy. As a finalist, WPD-Nepal stands out for advancing women-led peacebuilding, economic resilience, and grassroots leadership across 7 rural districts and 1,500+ groups. Being selected in the category of Resilience-Honoring courage, solidarity, and strength to rebuild is a meaningful achievement for WPD-Nepal. This recognition encourages us to continue creating positive change at the grassroots level, strengthening community systems, and building collective leadership in times of challenge and transformation.
