World Accord Visit to Nepal

December 12, 2017

World Accord, an international partner and supporter of WPD Nepal, organized a 14 day visit to Nepal to assess the situation of the women and marginalized individuals supported by World Accord. The World Accord team included David Barth (Executive Director, World Accord), Sandy Annett (World Accord supporter), Mary Pearson (Treasurer, World Accord), Bill Arnold (World Accord supporter), Aaron Grigsby (World Accord member), Gary and Judith Farb (World Accord supporters), Richard Kirsh (World Accord supporter), and Margaret Kohr (World Accord supporter). The World Accord team visited various working districts of WPD Nepal, including Chitwan, Makwanpur, Sarlahi, Janakpur, Sindhupalchowk, and Nuwakot. The team interacted with the women’s groups in their respective districts, where the women shared their stories and changes which had taken place in their life after the support from World Accord. The World Accord team was happy and inspired from the stories shared by the women and their achievement, and have promised to keep extending their support to these women.
